Ruby Tuesday, Magnolia Mall, Florence SC 3.5.10

Ruby Tuesday is one of our regular choices when we eat out on Friday nights. They have a new wine listing so we tried the "House" red (a cabernet). I had the 5 oz glass for $4.29 and John had the 8 oz glass for $5.29. It was a good value for the flavor and price. Our water, Ashley, could not have been more friendly and attentive throughout the meal. Their salad bar is absolutely fabulous! And at $2.99 (as long as you order an entree), an unbeatable bargain. I love that they have the baby spinach, mixed salad greens, edamame, as well as other fresh raw veggies such as cucumbers, broccoli, tomatoes, zucchini, in addition to two types of potato salad, broccoli salad, and toppings such as cranberries, bacon bits, cheese and sunflower seeds. John had the Salmon Florentine which he said was superb. It was served with snap peas and he had mashed potatoes instead of rice. Instead of seafood which I usually order, Southwestern Quesadilla was my selection. The taste and ingredients were fresh and the salsa and sour cream on the side were nice complements. With the generous portion, there was enough for tomorrow's lunch.

Overall rating: 5 out of 5.
